The exhibition will tour three South African cities, Johannesburg in November 2002, Cape Town in December-January 2003 and finally Durban in January-February 2003. The project also consists of residencies and workshops in the three cities where the exhibitions will be held, the publication of a Comics Brew catalogue, and the launch of Pascal Rabaté's comic book, Welcome to Jo'burg, from his previous residency in Johannesburg in November 2001, courtesy of the French Institute. Other books published by Comics Brew artists will also be displayed and for sale at the different exhibition venues.
Participating artists: Kalonji (RDC-Switzerland), Thomas Ott (Switzerland), Jean-Philippe Stassen (Belgium/France), Pascal Rabaté (France), and from South Africa : Karlien de Villiers, ND Mazin, Brendon Bell-Roberts and the Igubu collective.sburg
